'national church'?

...president must be a Christian of the Maronite sect which is the national church...

I have doubts over the authenticity of such a statement, considering Lebanon's multi-confessional system. Unless there's a source for such a statement, it should not be included. Firehead 00:47, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
